Payment

Your payment will be processed through PayPal.  By using PayPal, we never have access to your credit card information which is additional protection for you. You do not need an account with PayPal in order to make a payment and you may put the payment on your credit card through PayPal at no extra cost to you except for your normal credit card processing fees.

Sizing

To ensure a proper fit and reduce the need for jewelry returns, we recommend that before you order you carefully mark out the size of the necklace or bracelet on a piece of string or compare it to an existing piece of your jewelry.  Also, feel free to contact us if you have any questions.  

Shipment

Items will be shipped via Canada Post as soon as possible following receipt of payment. Shipping fees are a flat rate per package and are added to the purchase price at checkout.  If you wish a courier delivery, please contact us prior to checkout to arrange as additional courier fees will be payable.

Packaging

As part of being environmentally responsible (our experience is most jewelry containers are thrown away) and to keep your and our costs down, we use shipping envelopes for our jewelry.  If you would like special packaging, please see our containers under "Other Good Stuff" which are available for purchase or contact us to arrange.  

Return Policy

If you are dissatisfied for any reason with your purchase, we will either refund or exchange your purchase provided that the item is returned to us, with tags on and in its original packaging and condition, with a copy of the purchase order within ten days of receipt by you. Shipping fees are not refundable. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us and, therefore, for your own protection we recommend that you obtain insurance for the value of the item.

Guarantee of Quality

Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of service. If the item you purchased proves to be defective (normal wear and tear excluded) within 30 days of purchase, you may return it to us with all the original pieces of the product and proof of purchase for repair or replacement.

Privacy Policy and Security

We will not sell, share or trade any of your personal information to third parties. Personal information required for PayPal is processed through that website and is not available to us.  All information provided to Bells On Toes via the internet is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology.

At this time we ship only to Canada.

If you would like us to keep track of special events such as birthdays, Christmas or anniversaries and provide suggestions for gifts, please email us. For a small additional price, we can also provide special packaging, gift wrapping and gift cards for the special someone in your life.

Care of Jewelry

Silver jewelry will tarnish over time but can be easily cleaned using a soft polishing cloth such as the ones we have available for purchase under "Other Good Stuff". We recommend that you keep your jewelry individually wrapped with tissue or soft fabric to help prevent tarnishing and scratching. Avoid contact with extreme heat or moisture or perfume, lotions, hairspray or other chemicals. Various types of stones used in our jewelry are fragile or porous. These should only be cleaned if necessary using water and a soft cloth.

Social and Environmental Responsibility

We do not purchase any jewelry containing coral or wood from vulnerable forests. We source our products from designers who provide fair compensation to their workers.
